Photographs at Brecon War Memorial Hospital.

A series of ten wildlife photographs from my book ‘Life on the Floodplain’ winged their way to Brecon War Memorial Hospital which will hopefully brighten the walls for patients and staff. These are now in Y Bannau and Epynt Wards, the stroke rehabilitation and palliative care wards of the hospital.

These were offered to Paul Sussex the hospital director who gladly accepted them. Personal Assistant Joanna McDonough who oversaw installation commented: ‘Your beautiful pictures on display in Y Bannau and Epynt Wards. Having spoken to some patients in the rooms where they are displayed, they really are making a difference to their stays. The staff commented how beautiful they are…The Ward Sister/Manager commented how they have brightened up the rooms and corridors for the patients...Thank you for making this kind donation to the wards it really has made a difference to patients and staff.’ |
